Adam Cole wants to add the AEW World Championship to the list of world titles that he has held.

Cole has held the top title in NXT and ROH, and he has held other championships as well. He joined AEW in 2021, and injuries have derailed his time in the company at different points. Cole returned at AEW WrestleDream and targeted MJF. Still, his goal remains the same.

Speaking on Going Ringside ahead of AEW Worlds End, Adam Cole made it clear that he had his sights set on the AEW World Championship. (H/t Wrestling Inc.)

“The biggest thing for me is once I’m done and finished with Maxwell Jacob Friedman, I really mean this, I’ve had this goal since I started in AEW and it will be my goal into 2025, I want to become the AEW World Champion,” Cole said. “I think anyone in this company has the exact same goal, the exact same vision. That’s certainly Adam Cole’s vision as well. So I’ve been world champion in practically every company that I’ve ever worked for with the exception of AEW, so to add that to the list would be the ultimate dream come true.”

Cole lost to MJF at AEW Worlds End. He reunited with Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly after the bell.
