2024 EUROPEAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2024 European Junior Championships kicked off today from Lithuania, with the nation hosting its first-ever international competition.

Italy rose to the occasion on opening night, with the nation reaping 2 golds in the form of podium-topping results in both the boys’ and girls’ 4x100m free relays.

Hungary’s 15-year-old Vivient Jackl repeated as European junior champion in the girls’ 400m IM to give her nation its first gold of 2024.
