The Denison men have been crowned the 2025 NCAA DIII Men’s Swimming and Diving Champion for the first time since 2019, marking the program’s 6th title overall.
In their victory, Denison men ran away with the title, racking up 463.5 points to take down defending National Champion Emory by 140 points. Despite loosing their 3-year title streak, the Emory men finished as the runner-up with 323.5 points.
A testament to the team’s depth, the Denison men did not win a single individual event or relay over the course of the meet, relying on points from swimmers across the board.
Denison’s relays were one of their strong-suits for the week, as all 5 of the team’s relays finished in the top 5, including runner-up performances in the 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays.
Individually, senior Patrick Daly posted two runner-up finishes in his individual events, doing so in both the 200 IM (1:46.26) and 200 breaststroke (1:57.49). Sophomore Jack Hill also added a 2nd place performance in the 200 freestyle (1:35.82) and contributed key legs to several of the team’s relays. The team also saw diving points from Nick Fogle, who finished 3rd in the 1-meter event.
