Elves Brener made weight for his lightweight bout with Myktybek Orolbai at UFC 301, but it appears to have been difficult task. Luckily, Brener had the support of his teammates — one in particular who was up close and personal with the suffering.

Brener made weight at 156 pounds at Friday's official weigh-ins, and right around the time that the weigh-in window began, Brener's Chute Box teammate Allan Nascimento posted a video on his Instagram of Brener's scary weight cut, with former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira joining him inside the small infrared sauna as he appeared to have trouble staying conscious.

Check out the video below.

Brener was not the only UFC 301 fighter who struggled to make weight. French featherweight William Gomis was pulled from his bout against Jean Silva after a scary showing on the scale Friday, which came shortly after Gomis vomited backstage.

Despite his seemingly rough cut, Brener looks to make another statement in the UFC's deepest division after a breakthrough 2023 campaign that saw him earn wins over massive favorites Zubaira Tukhugov and Guram Kutateladze, as well as a knockout win over Contender Series veteran Kaynan Kruschewsky at November's UFC Sao Paulo event.

The 26-year-old will serve as a sizable underdog once again when he faces Oralbai, who enters the bout on a seven-fight win streak, which includes a short-notice stoppage win over Uros Medic at welterweight in his octagon debut this past November.
