UFC legend Michael Bisping reflects on 'worst period of my life' in worrying post from hospital bed

Michael Bisping has opened up about his ongoing health battle.
The UFC Hall of Famer has well-documented issues with his right eye, but he's also dealing with several other painful problems after a legendary 39-fight career in MMA.
Despite retiring in 2017, Bisping has continued to deal with several seriously painful issues that he's tried and failed to rectify with the help of doctors
Now he's back in the hospital hoping to sort out his pain problem once and for all.

Michael Bisping shares worrying post from hospital bed
Bisping has documented his post-fight health problems, which have seen him undergo several surgeries as he attempts to address issues with his spine, knees, and neck.
Unfortunately, they haven't all been a success. On Tuesday, 'The Count' shared four pictures from his hospital bed on X and added a sad caption that revealed he's been really struggling with neck pain for the past 18 months.
"I had a disc replacement 6 weeks ago which provided zero relief. 2 fusions today. Fingers crossed," Bisping tweeted.
"The last 18 months have been probably the worst period of my life but I couldn't have done it without my amazing wife by my side.
"It's also her birthday today and she spent it sat with me all day and waiting outside the surgery room for hours. Please join me in wishing her a happy birthday.
"Full energy Bisping back soon! Get ready."

Bisping went into more detail about the surgery he was set to have on Instagram, where he also opened up with some of the symptoms that had made his life such a struggle for the past 18 months.
He wrote: "Double neck surgery today, hopefully a success.
"It's been 18 months of insane agony. Headaches and massive discomfort. I had a disc replacement 6 weeks ago which provided zero relief. Hopefully the 2 fusions today get the job done.
The 45-year-old also gave his long-time wife a shoutout for standing by him through thick and thin, including on a day when she is supposed to be the center of attention.
Bisping added: "Not the best pic of me for obvious reasons but I couldn't have endured the last 18 months without Rebecca by my side. Physically it's been tough, but the mental struggle has been much more of a battle.
"Hopefully this is a thing of the past now but anyway cry me a river.
"Please join me in wishing @rebeccabisping a happy birthday. Not the best way to spend her special day but she's been so selfless and supported me through this arduous journey. Full energy Bisping back soon! Thank you, Rebecca!"
