From Max Holloway's last-second finish over Justin Gaethje to Alex Pereira's three title KO's in just six months; 2024 has been another outstanding year for fans of big-fight finishes.

Luckily, there's no need to go back through the archives as the UFC has just given fans a late Christmas present – a fabulous 70-minute-long compilation of the best knockouts of the past 12 months.

UFC drops 70-minute montage of the best knockouts from 2024

There are still two weeks to go before the first UFC event of 2025, which means that there's ample time to sit back and enjoy a (not-so-quick) recap of the best knockouts from the past year.

In 2024, the UFC put on a whopping 517 fights across 42 unique events (PPV and Fight Nights) with MMAJunkie citing a grand 101 hours and 32 minutes of total fight time.

Of those 517 total fights, 147 resulted in a KO/TKO – that figure could have been higher, had the promotion not introduced a new design for their fight gloves, which inadvertently resulted in a drop in finishes mid-way through the year.

The most knockouts in a single event came at UFC on ESPN 54: Blanchfield vs Fiorot in March, which featured eight KO/TKO's – five of those arrived on the prelims, with three more on the main card.

174 post-fight bonuses were handed out: with fighters earning approximately $9.95 million from either Fight of the Night or Performance of the Night bonuses – including four $300K checks at UFC 300.

It was also a surprisingly decent year for underdogs, who scored 146 wins to 367 losses against the betting favorites; the most underdog wins came at UFC 267: Strickland vs Du Plessis with seven upsets.

Now that the scene's been set; we can finally get into the compilation itself – 70 minutes of pure, unadulterated MMA violence… Sit back, grab a festive drink, and enjoy.

Top comments prove it's been another incredible year to be a UFC fan

The hour-plus-long compilation has only been available to watch on YouTube for less than 24 hours, but the video has already garnered over half a million views worldwide.

From even the briefest scroll through the comments section, it's obvious that fans are loving the extended KO collection; with some of the top ones reading as followed.

"Topuria is so agressive and calculated at the same time."

"That walk-off knee to the body from Prates is my favorite from 2024."

"Prates appearing 4 times gives me chills."

"Watching Volk, Max, Stipe and Jiri get flatlined this year took 18 months off my life expectancy."

"Ufc really stepped up there YouTube game Recently. I appreciate it, keep dishing out the content old and new. I'm here for it."

2024 has been a blast, and 2025 should be even better – UFC Fight Night: Dern vs Ribas 2 kicks off another year of UFC action on January 11, 2025… See you there.
