The Leader Of The Diaz Army Is Seemingly Okay

Nick Diaz is doing okay.
And that's great to hear because 2024 was not a good year for the leader of the Diaz Army, as he had two canceled Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fights against Vicente Luque.
The second Diaz vs. Luque fight got scrapped a few days after a troubling video of a shirtless Diaz lighting grass on fire leaked online, leading to drug addiction accusations.
After a few weeks of silence, Diaz released a video on his Instagram stories (which is now gone) of him in good spirits while in Mexico.
"Out here in Mexico," Diaz said. "At a little retreat center over here with the chefs and all that. [I'm] gonna hit up this jiu-jitsu gym they have out here somewhere. This guy Clark Gracie, I beat him in the U.S. Open way back when we were kids. He's got his own gym out here, so I'm gonna go and try to jam that place up."

It is unclear if the 41-year-old mixed martial arts (MMA) legend will be booked for a UFC fight again after all of the cancellations last year.
Diaz was last in action against Robbie Lawler at UFC 266, where he was stopped via TKO. He has not won a fight since UFC 137 in 2011 when he beat down B.J. Penn.
