Ronda Rousey is back in the gym working on the skills that earned her an Olympic medal.
After claiming bronze in judo at Beijing 2008, ‘Rowdy’ transitioned to MMA and became a legend.
The inaugural UFC bantamweight champion retired in 2016 after a 48-second knockout loss against Amanda Nunes, one year after Holly Holm’s head kick ended her perfect 12-0 run in MMA.
As of late, Ronda Rousey breathed life into comeback rumors by sharing footage from her training sessions on social media.

Ronda Rousey has still got it
Ronda Rousey recently reunited with a UFC rival she tapped in 14 seconds and gave fans a glimpse of the armbar submission that made her a superstar.
On Saturday, the 38-year-old showed off one of her other famous moves with a different training partner.
Rousey sent her teammate flying through the air with a judo throw to prove she’s still got it.
“First throws with @ranawillink on the crash pad now that my ligaments are officially tightened back up,” she captioned the post.
“Nice to know that the years of countless repetition are still paying off and they still got that whip to 'em
#MOMtage.”
Is Ronda Rousey training for a comeback?
In 2024, Rousey ruled out ever making a return to fighting during a shocking health update.
The UFC icon revealed the reason she retired at 29 years old was due to a major concussion issue.
Rousey suffered dozens of concussions before deciding to bring her career to a premature end.
Fans will continue to clamour for a comeback, but it's very unlikely we'll ever see Rousey inside the Octagon again.
All the new training footage is easily explained as a mother documenting her fitness journey after recently giving birth to her second child.
