Renato Moicano isn’t holding back on responding to the trolls following his UFC 311 loss to Islam Makhachev.
Originally, Renato Moicano was scheduled to face Beneil Dariush at UFC 311 this past Saturday but after Arman Tsarukyan withdrew from his scheduled main event against Islam Makhachev, Moicano was upgraded on just a day’s notice.
Unfortunately for ‘Money’ Moicano, levels were shown as the Brazilian was submitted in the first round by the pound-for-pound number one fighter on the planet.
Despite the change of opponent coming just a day before the fight, Moicano didn’t use that as an excuse and claimed that he had a ‘life’s notice’ as he had been working toward a title fight his entire career.

Renato Moicano fires back at Paddy Pimblett following UFC 311 trolling
With Moicano’s disappointing loss coming quite quickly into the fight, he has received criticism from longtime rival, Paddy Pimblett.
Reacting to the UFC 311 main event, Pimblett trolled the Brazilian for tapping out to the D’Arce choke instead of going ‘out on his shield’ and going to sleep from the choke.

Instead of sitting back and licking his wounds, Moicano decided to fire back at Pimblett, who had been calling him out for a fight for several months.
“Paddy Pimbi*ch is talking s***! Let me tell you something, you gonna tap if we fight! You never got a short-notice fight in your life imagine one day notice!” Moicano responded to Pimblett’s trolling.
“I’m not talking s*** Renato I’m talking facts. You tapped after like 2 seconds like a b****. Only chance you’ll ever get to be a UFC world champ and you quit like an absolute sausage! I’d make you quit just like Islam did you p****,” Pimblett replied.
“Take it easy bruddah the judges not gonna help you this time!” Moicano claimed.
Pimblett caused controversy amongst the UFC fanbase for his 2022 win against Jared Gordon as the majority of the fanbase believed Gordon was robbed of the win and didn’t like how ‘The Baddy’ reacted to the criticism of his performance.
Since then, he has scored back-to-back wins against Tony Ferguson and Bobby Green, putting himself in the top 15 of the lightweight rankings.
Could we see Renato Moicano vs Paddy Pimblett next?
Pimblett hasn’t fought since July last year and will likely be looking for a return to the Octagon in the first quarter of this year as he has already ballooned up in size whilst out of camp.
Moicano has looked to stay as active as possible over the past few years since adopting the nickname ‘Money’ and despite his loss to Makhachev, he didn’t take a lot of damage ahead of the submission.
The UFC recently announced that they will be returning to London on March 22 and the Scouser is usually a fixture on the cards on that side of the pond.
‘Money’ recently fought Benoit Saint-Denis in his backyard and may be keen on finally shutting up his rival, Pimblett, in his own backyard.
