Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall could happen in Las Vegas

Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall are on the cusp of finally setting foot in the octagon together, with the Brit’s dad saying where a match-up might take place.

The pair have developed quite the rivalry, with the interim champion doing everything in his power to goad ‘Bones’ into a fight.

By the sounds of things, the 31-year-old might actually have a chance of making his dream come true, with his father and coach, Andy Aspinall, claiming he thinks the collision will take place in the fight capital of the world.

In an interview with Uncrowned, he said: "I think it will happen in [Las] Vegas. It will happen in the place where they'll make the most money, won't it? That's my opinion."

The MMA trainer added that he believes Jones sees his son as a genuine threat to his throne.

He explained: "I think Jon doesn't know if he wants the fight or not. I think he wants the fight to beat Tom, but he also doesn't want to take that risk because he could lose.

“He's not afraid to fight anyone, I'm sure, but I don't think he wants to lose his unbeaten record. I'm sure that right now, he doesn't know if he's going to do it, and it will depend on the amount of money that they're offering.”
