Callum Walsh has been a sensation throughout his early career in boxing and added another sensational knockout to his record on Sunday night.
Early into his life in the ring, the 24-year-old has displayed some devastating power in his hands. Having debuted in 2021, the rising star has managed to finish 11 of his 13 opponents, leaving his knockout percentage at a staggering 85%—thanks to his win on March 16.
In a fight he was expected to win, Callum Walsh delivered. From the opening bell, Walsh was visibly levels above his opponent Dean Sutherland, and it didn't take long for him to find the finishing touch.
Walsh piled on the pressure with just seconds left on the clock, eventually forcing Sutherland to crack. Despite landing an arsenal of shots leading up to the finish, it was a short right hook that brought an end to the night deep into the first round.
Another statement win for the prospect sees him extend his record to a perfect 13-0.
