Jon Jones paying homage to Donald Trump during his post-fight celebration at UFC 309 has caused a worldwide domino effect.
The UFC heavyweight champion defended his title in a legacy fight against former kingpin Stipe Miocic. Shortly after finishing his opponent, 'Bones' did the Trump dance as the US president watched from his cage-side seat.
Since Jon Jones performed the Donald Trump dance, a wave of support has piled in for the 78-year-old. Many of Jones' fellow sportsmen have followed suit, making the Trump dance go viral, but murmurs are suggesting the NFL will take action against the celebration.
"I find it hard to believe that the NFL would crack down on this Trump dance," Brett Favre said during an appearance on FOX News. "I would hope that they wouldn't..."
"I think like, with Jon Jones, that was a very powerful moment with he and president Trump."
"The baddest man arguably on the planet who came over and showed respect to president Trump, I think it says a lot about where we are in this country right now."

The NFL are seemingly putting an end to the Donald Trump dance craze.
After doing the Trump dance, Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers was questioned about it during the post-match press conference. Immediately following the question, PR brought his post-game availability to an end.
"I've seen everyone do it," Bowers said. "I watched the UFC fight last night and Jones did it."
"I like watching UFC so I saw it, and thought it was cool."

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud joined in on the viral celebration.Β
Stroud hit something that resembled the Trump Dance, though a much less appealing one.

The love for Trump and his dance has taken the country by storm but it was Jon Jones who kickstarted the viral jig.
Jones took time to thank Jesus Christ, announce his joy at being an American UFC champion, and put the spotlight on Donald Trump before executing the dance.
