Jake Paul’s next boxing challenge could come in the form of an ex-UFC title challenger.

Despite Paul vs. Mike Tyson being a massive commercial success, fan sentiment was at an all-time low. Paul outclassed his near-60-year-old opponent to a tepid decision victory, and allegations of match-fixing and cherry-picking opponents were rife.

For Paul to steady the ship, he’ll need to face a stiff test in his next contest, which might be the case if these hints are anything to go by.

Darren Till drops hint for Jake Paul Summer Arena clash

Former UFCwelterweight title challenger Darren Till teased some “potential big fight news” in a post on X on January 22 that he could be fighting Jake Paul at the Anfield Arena in Liverpool, England.

“Just had some potential big fight news [that] could happen in the Summer,” Till wrote. “#Anfield #JP #Paul #Jake”

Debuting in Misfits Boxing (MB) on January 18, Till knocked out perennial Misfits Boxing contender Anthony Taylor in the sixth round. His new foray into influencer boxing has been a massive success, even without a Tommy Fury fight, which fell through due to pre-fight trash talk.

Till has since offered a hilarious apology to John Fury, Tommy’s father, who allegedly demanded an apology. Ironically, ‘The Gorilla’ could steal Fury’s thunder by getting Paul to fight before he does.

Jake Paul teases January announcement

Adding to the allure of a potential Till fight, Paul’s promotion, Most Valuable Promotions, released an Instagram story around the same time as Till’s post.

In their story is a picture of Paul with the caption, “Announcement in January.”

With only eight days left in the month, time is ticking for any potential Paul fight news.
