Jake Paul reacts to Dana White's 'petty' reason for shutting down Conor McGregor vs Logan Paul

Jake Paul is stunned by the latest reports about UFC boss Dana White.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has been at odds with Dana White for years – but that hasn't stopped his WWE superstar brother, Logan Paul, from doing business with MMA's most powerful man, until now.

White recently shut down a $500 million exhibition boxing bout between 'The Maverick' and Conor McGregor, who he insists will return to the UFC Octagon later this year after being sidelined since July 2021 when he broke his leg.

'Notorious' wants the matchup, he's made that much clear. Despite that, the Irishman recently admitted that his fight with Paul is dead because the ‘UFC aren’t into it’.

Jake Paul reacts to reported reason Dana White vetoed Conor McGregor vs Logan Paul

On Sunday, the Daily Mail shared a story revealing the 'real reason' White is refusing to book McGregor vs Paul – even though it seems sure to be a pay-per-view smash hit.

An unnamed source claims that White's aversion to the matchup is all about his 'hatred' for Jake, who he has been feuding with for a variety of reasons for the past few years.

"Dana White hates Jake Paul," the Daily Mail's source claimed.

"There is a constant tumultuous attitude towards each other, and they have a never-ending feud because Jake continues to call out Dana on how he treats his fighters and how they get paid.

"And for Dana’s part, he thinks Jake is making the world of boxing a complete joke. He hates the popularity Jake has received. Dana hated the Tyson fight and just hates everything Jake has given boxing. Dana thinks it is a complete joke.

"Conor and Logan put together their fight by themselves. All the money and the hype would go through them, and that is a no-go for Dana,’ the source continued.

"He would have potentially considered it to be done if it wasn’t Logan, but Dana’s hate for Jake is the fuel that was needed to instantly say no. Dana doesn’t want the Paul brothers to benefit financially ever if it takes away from his own bottom line.

"The feud runs deep and will remain petty. It will be a cold day in hell before Dana and the Paul brothers are on the same page."

On Monday, Mike Tyson's comeback opponent shared the Daily Mail's article to his X – formerly known as Twitter – page and expressed his disbelief in a caption.

Paul wrote: "Dana White didn't let Conor fight Logan bc of his hatred for me? Haha. I hope this is bs. Can't be that petty can he?"

McGregor recently ran into the Paul Brothers when he attended Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The former dual-weight UFC champion went back and forth with Logan in viral footage.

It was believed Jake remained quiet until a new clip of him conversing with McGregor was shared online.

Jake pointed to his recent success against southpaws as a potential reason why McGregor isn't as keen on facing him as he is in battling Logan.

“Why do you wanna fight him? Jake asked. “It’s an easier fight?”

“It’s a bigger name. It’s a bigger name,” McGregor insisted.

“You know what I do to southpaws,” Jake fired back.

“What did you do to any southpaw? Nate Diaz? You couldn’t even put him down,” McGregor said.

He added when Anderson Silva was mentioned: “Look, you’ve done some good things. You’ve done some alright things.”
