Ahead of their highly controversial professional boxing fight this coming Friday, November 15, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson sat down for a face-to-face interview.
After almost a year of build-up, a whole different fight, and another fight camp later, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are finally set to clash at the AT&T Stadium in front of 80,000 fans this coming Friday.
The two were originally scheduled to fight back in June, but after ‘Iron Mike’ suffered an ulcer flare-up whilst on a flight, the fight was postponed and instead, ‘The Problem Child’ fought and beat BKFC fighter, Mike Perry.
Jake Paul makes pigeon his pet after Mike Tyson told him he would feed it to his falcon
Ahead of their highly controversial fight, Paul and Tyson sat down together for a face-to-face interview this past Sunday. Fortunately, as things have done throughout the entire build-up, things remained respectful between the two.
Not only did things remain respectful, but Paul even gifted Tyson a pigeon, knowing his well-documented love for the bird.
Since he was a young boy, the ferocious heavyweight boxer has always had pigeons as pets and he has historically explained how looking after pigeons was an escape from the bullying he endured as a kid.
After being gifted the Southeast Asian pigeon by the 27-year-old, Tyson told Paul that he was going to feed the pigeon to his pet Falcon, and the pigeon was swiftly taken away from his grasp.
Since then, fans have been asking ‘The Problem Child’ whether the 58-year-old accepted the gift and took it home with him.
“Everyone wants an update on my new pigeon that Mike Tyson denied. Richard here is doing absolutely amazing, he’s thriving, and he’s having the best time. I can’t believe Mike Tyson let you go,” Paul stated in a video on his Instagram.
Further on his posting spree of Richard the pigeon, ‘The Problem Child’ revealed that he has decided to keep the pigeon for himself.
Jake Paul reveals he will callout Canelo Alvarez with a win over Mike Tyson
Although the two have yet to clash inside the ring, the 27-year-old has already revealed who he will call out if he is victorious on Friday night.
Paul revealed that he will call for a cruiserweight fight against Canelo Alvarez if he gets through Tyson, stating that his performance will prove that he is ‘the face of boxing’.
Canelo, who usually fights at 168lbs, has been a long-time target of Paul’s, however, with the YouTuber turned boxer having not scored a notable win over a professional boxing name, the bout has never been taken seriously.
Despite that, ‘The Problem Child’ believes that the temptation of a huge payday and a possible title in a fifth weight division will be enough to tempt Canelo into fighting him next.
