Logan Paul’s rumored boxing match with Conor McGregor might’ve hit a recent snag after reports that Jake Paul has entered the mix.

Jake Paul has repeatedly called out UFC superstar Conor McGregor during his polarizing boxing career. If recent reports are true, he could potentially be on his way to finally getting his long-awaited showdown with the former two-division UFC champ.

Jake’s brother, Logan, was recently linked to a potential boxing match with McGregor after the former UFC champ tweeted that he’s in ‘preliminary agreements’ with Logan and his team for a fight in India. As of this writing, nothing has been formally announced regarding a possible Logan vs. McGregor showdown, although that hasn’t stopped the two parties from fueling speculation online.

After the initial narrative surrounding Logan vs. McGregor was that Logan was ‘sniping’ the fight from Jake, reports surfaced that the latter could potentially do the same thing towards his brother.

Conor McGregor teased Logan Paul fight in India for fighting return

According to ESPN boxing reporter Salvador Rodriguez, a clash between Jake and McGregor is now on the table for sometime between July and September 2025 in India. As of this writing, McGregor nor Jake have addressed the reports.

Jake most recently defeated heavyweight boxing legend in his latest combat sports success story earlier this year. He’s won five consecutive fights since suffering his first career defeat to Tommy Fury in 2023.

McGregor has long teased a UFC Octagon return and was scheduled to headline UFC 303 against Michael Chandler before withdrawing due to a toe injury. UFC CEO Dana White‘s latest update tabbed McGregor for a late 2025 return to the cage.

In reaction to the initial reports about Logan vs. McGregor, Jake called McGregor ‘washed’ and claimed that the only way a fight could be negotiated between them would be if White gave the green light. White teased a surprise announcement for the 2025 UFC slate during the UFC Tampa post-fight presser, and some pundits have linked White’s ‘surprise’ with the McGregor/Paul reports.

Report: Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor ‘on the table’ for Summer 2025

McGregor’s lone professional boxing match took place in 2017 against Boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the infamous ‘money fight’. McGregor lost by TKO and has since hinted at a potential rematch with Mayweather, along with a possible booking against Mayweather’s former rival Manny Pacquiao.

Logan’s last boxing fight took place against former Bellator prospect Dillon Danis, McGregor’s longtime teammate at SBG Ireland. He’s hinted at a 2025 return against a to-be-determined opponent, potentially McGregor after the swirl of recent reports.

McGregor hasn’t competed in combat sports since suffering a leg injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He’s repeatedly hinted at a UFC comeback after coaching opposite Chandler on The Ultimate Fighter.

McGregor, Logan, and Jake are all at the center of one of the most intriguing crossover boxing headlines entering 2025. While nothing is set in stone between McGregor and either Paul brother, we could get more clarity on negotiations soon.
