UFC 306 took place at the Sphere in Las Vegas this past Saturday featuring two world title bouts.

Sean O'Malley had his bantamweight title snatched away from him in the fight card's main event losing a one-sided unanimous decision to top contender Merab Dvalishvili.  It was a dominated performance from "The Machine."

Former two-time middleweight champion Israel Adesanya reacted to the UFC 306 main event result in a video posted to his YouTube channel on Sunday.

"Merab's performance was pretty much flawless.  What I thought he would do was keep O'Malley down," Adesanya said.  "He couldn't too much some rounds but he kept continuing to take him down and just beat him up.  New champ.  Dreams come true.  Good job."

O'Malley won the 135-pound championship by stopping Dvalishvili's teammate Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292. He successfully defended the belt against Marlon "Chito" Vera at UFC 299 in March avenging a previous loss to the Ecuadorian.

Dvalishvili had been the top contender in the division for some time heading into UFC 306 but would not fight his teammate, Sterling. With Sterling no long the champion, Dvalishvili finally got his title shot and made a statement.  Dvalishvili extended his winning streak to 11 consecutive fights and has a new, shiny UFC bantamweight championship belt to add to his trophy case.
