After former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Andrei Arlovski was released from the UFC last year, the 46-year-old teased that he wasn't done competing yet and wasn't lying.
Today (Weds., March 12, 2025), it was announced that Arlovski will be taking on Terrance Hodges at Dirty Boxing 1 (DBX 1) next weekend (Sat., March 22, 2025), which will go down inside The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Florida.
Dirty Boxing Championship is Mike Perry's new promotion and will be headlined by Yoel Romero vs. Ras Hylton (more details here).
Arlovski (34-24) is riding a four-fight losing streak, with losses to Martin Buday, WaldoCortes-Acosta, Don'Tale Mayes, and Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
"Pitbull" has won a fight since 2022 and scored a finish since 2015, Travis Browne, in an absolutely insane fight (relive it).
Arlovski's upcoming opponent, Hodges (2-7 MMA), is riding a five-fight losing skid across multiple combat sports such as Muay Thai and kickboxing. His last MMA fight came against Mohammed Usman, where he lost a unanimous decision.
Other notable matchups on the DBX 1 are the following:
Yoel Romero vs. Ras Hylton
Maurice Greene vs. Rakim Cleveland
Bubba Jenkins vs. Gabriel Macario
Ulysses Diaz vs. Brian Maxwell
Mike Breeden vs. Eric Moon
