Feng Xiaocan was rushed to a local hospital after a head-kick knockout loss to Shi Ming at UFC Macau.
The Road to UFC strawweight tournament championship at UFC Macau between Feng Xiaocan and Shi Ming resulted in one of the scariest finishes in recent UFC history.
Ming knocked out Xiaocan with a head kick, followed by multiple ground strikes, at UFC Macau this weekend. It was a frightening sight for viewers as Xiaocan lost consciousness and use of her extremities for around four minutes as a result of the knockout.
After four minutes of treatment in the cage by UFC medical staff, Xiaocan left the cage on a stretcher as Ming and others watched on. The crowd applauded as Xiaocan was stretchered out of the venue and immediately moved into an ambulance.
A visibly shaken Ming used her post-fight Octagon interview to send support to Xiaocan and her team. Thankfully, Xiaocan was able to regain consciousness moments later and communicate with her team inside the ambulance on the way to a local hospital.

Per the UFC Macau broadcast, Xiaocan was ‘able to use her arms, without pain or dizziness’ as she was rushed to the hospital. If she’s cleared soon during her hospital stay, she’ll immediately be transported to the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai to undergo concussion protocols
A preliminary CT scan by medical staff on Xiaocan was promising, per the broadcast. She also suffered no injuries to her neck as a result of the head kick.
