Conor McGregor supposedly kicked a wall after watching Anderson Silva lose one of his biggest fights

Paddy Pimblett has told an amusing anecdote about how he watched Conor McGregor go ballistic after witnessing Anderson Silva lose to Chris Weidman.

Just like the great Brazilian, ‘The Notorious’ possesses a beautiful striking style.

On one occasion, Pimblett and McGregor settled down to catch the battle between two of the world’s greatest middleweights.

In an interview with StillTalkingShow, the Liverpudlian recalled how the Dubliner reacted when one of his favorite mixed martial artists fell short.

Pimblett chuckled: “When I had my first Cage Warriors fight, he’d just been signed by the UFC. I was 19, and he was there. We were watching Anderson Silva vs Chris Weidman that night.

“I’ll never forget. I fell asleep with my head on the couch, woke up, and ended up watching the fight. There was only a few of us. He was there with John Kavanagh.

“When Anderson lost, he was gutted, because he’s an Anderson fan. I’ll never forget him kicking the wall in this hotel in this reception. It was f***ing hilarious.

However, in recent years, he’s struggled to even get into the cage, never mind win a big fight.

But something huge could be around the corner, with one of the biggest stars in UFC history, willing to take him on in bare-knuckle.
