Brad Pickett is expecting fireworks when Leon Edwards and Sean Brady go head-to-head at UFC London.

‘Rocky’ is excited to make a statement, when he walks out in front of a packed crowd at the O2 Arena.

After losing his championship belt last time out, the striker knows he needs a big win to propel himself towards a rematch with Belal Muhammad.

But first, he has a big task in front of him, as Brady has warned Edwards of what’s to come.

Brad Pickett thinks Leon Edwards will finish Sean Brady early

Brad Pickett can’t wait for UFC London. Not only does he have two fighters on the bill, in the form of Nathaniel Wood and Lone’er Kavanagh, but he is also very intrigued by the main event between Leon Edwards and Sean Brady.

While many are writing the Brit off because of his last performance, ‘One Punch’ explained that there were extenuating circumstances and his countryman will bounce back with a big KO.

In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow via Grosvenor, Pickett explained: “Overcoming any loss, no matter where you are in your career, you always want to get back on track. Going back-to-back losses is going to be tough, especially with him being a former champion.

“He’s just lost his belt, so his next fight is going to be very important for where he goes in his life.

“He’s fighting a very tough, up-and-coming guy within the weight class. He should be going into this fight as a favorite, but he’s a tough young hungry lion.

“I feel like he struggled against Belal Muhammad with the time difference. Even though he was fighting in the UK, he fought on US time as he fought at 4am – I've been there before and done that, I know how tough that was — it sucked.

“It kind of affected his performance, he was very lacklustre, so I feel like he's got a bit of a point to prove in this one. He's such a talented fighter in all areas; I can see him securing a win pretty early with some strikes, or if not, a quite dominant decision victory.”

Leon Edwards admits his biggest frustration over Belal Muhammad defeat ahead of UFC London return

Ultimately, Edwards’ main goal is to get his chance at revenge against his rival.

With their first fight ending in a No Contest, which the British-Jamiacan was winning until an accidental eye poke brought a halt to proceedings, and their second going the way of the American-Palestinian, they undeniably have unfinished business.

The result of the last contest still leaves the former champion with sleepless nights.

Now, Edwards has revealed what annoys him most about Muhammad claiming the belt.
