Champion Idiomatic Returns with Stylish La Troienne Victory

The big mare is back.
Making her first start since capturing the GI Breeders' Cup Distaff at Santa Anita Nov. 4, champion Idiomatic (m, 5, Curlin–Lockdown, by First Defence) made it six straight wins in Friday's GI Fasig-Tipton La Troienne S. on the GI Kentucky Oaks undercard.
Not off to the sharpest of beginnings, the 4-5 favorite chased on the inside in second over the sloppy going. She slipped through along the inside and grabbed the lead as they approached the far turn and drew off in deep stretch to score by four widening lengths.
Free Like a Girl (El Deal) was second; champion and 'TDN Rising Star' Pretty Mischievous (Into Mischief) was third.
The final time for 1 1/16 miles was 1:43.24.
Lifetime Record: 13-10-1-2.
O/B-Juddmonte (KY); T-Brad Cox.
#4 Idiomatic is just too much horse as she wins the La Troienne Stakes @ChurchillDowns as the 4/5 favorite!
