For improving golfers, breaking 80 is a significant milestone to chase.

The lower you shoot, the harder it is to make improvements to your game and continue to drop your scores.

Everyone’s practice, range sessions and objectives are different, but some changes will be beneficial to any golfer whether you’re looking to break 80, 90 or even 100.

On the LPGA Tour, American Nelly Korda has enjoyed a sensational season, solidifying her spot as World No.1.

The 26-year-old has already won two Majors and is the current LPGA Tour Player of the Year.

Korda, who is one of the most creative players on tour, was asked what advice she would give to those looking to develop their game and make that large step towards breaking 80.

The golfing superstar’s first tip can easily be implemented into your game and will no doubt improve your range sessions.

“A lot of amateurs that I see never have a stick down on the range.

“If you don’t know where you’re aiming in the range, there’s a high chance you don’t know where you’re aiming out on the golf course”, says Korda as she explains the importance of using a flat stick training aid during driving range sessions.

Her next tip is centred around methods of practice as she claims: “I see a lot of golfers in the range just drilling golf balls and over-practising instead of just going out and visualising.”

She added: “Golf is a game of creativity, and you’re never going to have an A game. One day, the wind will be to the left and the next to the right.

“One day, the hole will play completely differently, and it’s all about creativity, going out and playing a lot.”
