With three major championship victories and 19 wins worldwide the Callaway enjoyed its finest year to date on tour in 2024.

Moreover the success was not limited to the professionals because Callaway had its highest market share of 22.2% in the States in July.

Now Callaway is all set with its 2025 roster of golf balls.

Let’s take a look at what we can expect.

What’s up first?

The Chrome Tour Triple Diamond has the same distance, feel and shot-shaping characteristics of the top-end Chrome Tour.

But why is it different?

In essence it has been created for players who want a reliably penetrating flight with a slightly firmer feel and lower spin on full shots.

And what fuels that aim?

Callaway’s Seamless Tour Aero design ensures a penetrating ball flight in any conditions and has a high-performance urethane cover. On the visuals, it comes in white and also with the Callaway triple track.

In short?

Callaway say it is a lower spinning Chrome Tour X and should be especially improved in wind.

What’s up next?

The ERC Soft is Callaway’s longest ball with soft feel.

Wow, some call – what golfer is it designed for?

Ai has been influential in producing increased control around the green especially for low to mid handicappers.

How about driving?

The softer, lower Hyper Elastic SoftFast Core generates increased ball speed but also enhanced feel off the driver face while the hybrid cover (16% softer than the previous generation) leads to more greenside spin.

What do Callaway say?

They explain that Ai has a new high-modulus mantle which is three times stiffer than previous generation material. The ball acts like a spring.

Colours?

White, yellow, Triple Track and Truvis.

What about Supersoft?

It’s the bargain ball but it has an advanced cover, core and construction.

Which means?

Higher ball speed, soft feel, control, maximum spin.

And the colour range is huge?

Oh yes: white, yellow, matte red, green, pink and orange, plus Splatter 360 in red, blue and pink.

When are the balls out?

Available from January 31.
