Rider News: Ben Marsh off to France to race

Winner of the CiCLE Classic as a junior, Ben Marsh is off to France next season like loads of other young riders. Ben is joining French Team Apoge Charente-Maratime for 2025, the team that Ben Chilton who we interviewed on Saturday, has done so well in.

Ben gained some fantastic experience with the Project 1 Cycle Team with two blocks of racing in Italy and a short block of racing in France with Phil Maddocks. Ben’s season was book ended in the UK starting with 2nd place at the Jock Wadley in March and finishing well with 12th at the Beaumont Trophy in September.

In between, there have been some ups and downs for Ben and tough lessons which will all help going forward. Notable results during season:

– 13th Italian National Milano Busseto
– 2nd French National Ronde Finistérienne – Sizun
– 6th French National Ronde Finistérienne – Lorient
– 15th French National GP de la Saint-Laurent Elite – Prix des Stars

Ben also got some fabulous experience at big races such as Kreiz Breizh Elites, Gran Premio della Liberazione and Trofeo Piva. Ben is now looking forward to putting everything learned to good use with Apoge next year. Ben and his family would like to thank Project 1 for the opportunities Ben has had this year. Good luck in France!
