2025 EVENTS: RTTC 10 mile TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The most prestigious national TT is coming to Cornwall. The CTT National 10TT is coming to Cornwall for the first ever time and the team has been rewarded with it for their hard work. The event is happening on a new course close to the A30 for those travelling down.

Kernow Racing Team has hosted 10 events in 2014 becoming the South West’s leading time trial promoter. “Our ethos at Kernow Racing is to value all abilities, reward all helpers and contribute to the Racing scene. We are not a team that just races, we do so much more” says the team.

“We now have 40 members, in 2024 we donated £1000 to the local ladies cancer unit, we sponsored the local youth circuit league and made sure all our helpers were rewarded with £30 each for every race they helped at. We had 600 entries over our 10 events and broke boundaries by setting up a free road bike league which saw over 30 medal winners” the team added.

Cornwall has seen a few national TTs over the years. The most notable, in 1993, when Chris Boardman won the national 25 in Redruth by only 10 seconds over Graham Obree, but Cornwall has never hosted the National 10TT.

This significant race is expected to see over 200 para-cyclists, juniors, ladies, veterans, and the Men’s categories over two mornings next August.

Host team says “Not only is it expected to attract some of the UKs best time trial specialists, but it is also a fabulous opportunity to highlight the great TT scene and talent of all abilities we have here in the South West.”

“We feel it is a testament and an honour to be hosts of this prestigious event, not just for Kernow Racing but on behalf of all organisers, helpers, riders and supporters in the district.
We have chosen a course close to the A30 and near multiple hotels and services to help with logistics for travelling riders.”

National TT entry fees are normally around £30. We want to give some locals an opportunity to race this event for FREE. All we ask is if you can help marshall on the day you are not competing, we will cover your entry fee for the day you are. Contact us for more details.

Please note that all Kernow Racing Teams dates are district approved and awaiting national approval in early January.
