Surrey 2024 End of Season Awards voting open

Voting is open for Surrey's End of Season Awards with Members able to cast a vote for seven awards across the Surrey men and women's sides.

Members can cast their votes until Sunday 22 September at 10PM, click here to cast your vote – please note you'll need your Membership number to hand.

This year’s End of Season Awards will take place on Wednesday 2 October at the Kia Oval. Tickets are available here.

It's been another terrific season of cricket for Surrey's teams and it's time to pick your players who deserve recognition for their efforts.

Members can vote for the following awards:

  • Men's Batter of the Year
  • Men's Bowler of the Year
  • Women's Batter of the Year
  • Women's Bowler of the Year
  • Sylvester Clarke Moment of the Season (see more details below)
  • Anne Bickerstaff Emerging Player award (see more details below)
  • Vitality Blast T20 Player of the Season

Dan Lawrence hitting five sixes in an over en route to 175 against Worcestershire at Worcester (County Championship)

Jamie Smith marking his England call-up with 100 and 70 against Essex at the Oval (County Championship)

Rory Burns’ career best 227 against Lancashire at the Oval (County Championship)

Sean Abbott’s 5-18 against Middlesex at Lord’s (T20 Blast)

Sam Curran’s unbeaten 102 off 58 balls against Hampshire at the Oval (T20 Blast)

Josh Blake (100*) and Ollie Sykes (87*) partnership setting up an 89-run victory over Essex at Chelmsford with an unbeaten fifth-wicket stand of 155 in 17 overs (One-Day Cup)

Winning the London Cup 2024 – keeping Middlesex to 96/8 off their 20 overs. Chasing the score down in a controlled manner in 17.5 overs (London Cup)

Maddie Blinkhorn-Jones and Charlotte Stubbs 153-run partnership, in the successful run chase of 267 against Kent at Beckenham (London Championship)

 

Anne Bickerstaff Emerging Player award (nominations by Heads of Talent Pathway)

Ollie Hunt – Scored 865 @ 43 at U17 level including five fifties and two hundreds, with a high score of 141. Ollie was selected to play in the last two Surrey seconds' fixtures.

Adam Thomas – 974 runs @ 51.26 at U18 level including eight fifties and a hundred (174). Represented Surrey CCC in the showcase event vs Cambridgeshire scoring 62, and then represented Surrey CCC in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. Captained London and East at Super 4''s including one hundred.

Ollie Sykes – Named 2024 Wisden Schools Cricketer of the Year and was selected for the Metro Bank One-Day Cup and T20 Blast this season following consistent performances in the Surrey 2nd XI. Hit a memorable knock of 87 not out in the One-Day Cup fixture against Essex at Chelmsford.

Charlotte Stubbs – In addition to a strong season for Surrey Women with bat and ball, was invited to play in the Academy South v South match, and earlier in the year was selected as a non-travelling reserve for the England U19 World Cup squad, as well as in the ECB schools fixture vs West Indies.

Laxmi Johal – Continues to develop her batting, making her Surrey Women 50-over debut against Hampshire in April, scoring an unbeaten 25 to see Surrey over the line. Scored an incredible double-hundred (216) as opener for Surrey U18 vs Suffolk U18s in July.

Anna Lewis – After showing strong potential in 2023, has developed her swing bowling over the winter and was handed the opportunity to open the bowling this year.  Took 2/16 in only her second T20 for the Club, against Sussex at Hove.
