Hulk Hogan is backing Mike Tyson to roll back the years against Jake Paul.

'Iron Mike' was set to end his two-decade retirement from professional boxing to fight Paul, who is 30 years his junior, at AT&T Stadium on July 20.

However, the 57-year-old recently suffered an 'ulcer flare-up' and was forced to postpone his bout with the YouTuber-turned-boxer until November 15.

Despite the delay and concerning fact Tyson will return to the ring against a 27-year-old, Hogan is excited about the divisive match-up.

The 70-year-old wrestling legend – real name Terry Bollea – thinks the heavyweight icon has the eye of the tiger after watching some of his recent training footage.

Hogan says it reminded him of Tyson when he was knocking out people for fun during his reign of terror in the 1980s.

"When [Tyson] gets focused, he will seek and destroy," he told TMZ Sports.

"I see that bad dog look in his eye now. It's like when you don't trust a bad dog, it might bite you at any time. That's the look he's got.

"I remember that look from 25 years ago, it's kind of scary."

Hogan doesn't mind that Paul vs Tyson has been hit by a delay.

The WWE star insists it will ensure both men are in peak physical condition and capable of delivering what he believes will be a fight for the ages.

He added: “I’m excited about it. I’m kind if glad it’s rescheduled because I don’t want any excuses. I want both men at 100 per cent.

"I’ve got a feeling this is gonna be the fight of the century, brothers. This is gonna be a good one.”

Hogan makes sporadic WWE cameos, but he's essentially retired.

Still, the American wrestler is in tremendous shape having recently lost a ton of weight and getting ripped to show older men that it can be done.

“I didn’t think this kind of transformation was possible at this stage in my life,” Hogan told Men's Health in May 2023.

“I’m 69 years old, but I feel like I’m 39. And it’s not just the physical effects – it’s the mindset I have now.

“My advice for anyone else looking to make a change later in life is ‘just get back to the dance’. Do whatever it takes to get back to who you are and what you love.

"A lot of guys my age have the same problems that I do, and suffer with arthritis and inflammation. I’ve always found a way to train around that strategically without irritating it, but the main thing is being consistent with your workouts.

"If you work hard, the rewards come, and you’ll see it in your health, your relationships, your work, your family. Just keep your head down and move forward."
