Oscar De La Hoya has gone absolutely off on one again in his Thursday clap back segments in boxing news.

He lets digs fly verbally at anything he can and frequently at Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, a star he no longer promotes.

Following Anthony Joshua’s savage knockout loss last weekend De La Hoya has really gone after his promoter Eddie Hearn with this:

Hearn has not had a great run in 2024 it should be noted with many of his fighters getting beat and in some cases completely annilihated.

2024 has by far been the worst year ever for Eddie Hearn and Matchroom for getting so many, an incredible number actually, of their fighters beat — all around the world too.

Hearn and Matchroom’s fortunes have again been compounded recently after signing US star boxer Shakur Stevenson who not long after signing with him smashed his hands to pieces in sparring and is now on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.

A truly terrible year for Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing so far outside of bits of good news like Bam Rodridguez and some others but in general, a horrible year for Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn.

Surely the worst ever.
