Terence Crawford Tells Shaquille O'Neal What He Really Thought Of Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach Draw

The dust has well and truly settled on the Davis vs Roach majority draw but ‘Bud’ chopped it up properly with Shaq.

Speaking on the fight with Davis and Roach now that a rematch is on the horizon soon after the draw Crawford told Shaq on his podcast:

“My honest opinion? I thought Roach won. Even without the knockdown. It was a close fight. I thought both fought a good technical fight. They were countering each other. Familiar with each other. Having been around the same circles and fought twice. I think. But I thought Roach was the busier man. The sturdier one. I thought he landed more shots than Tank. Tank won the middle rounds but I felt Roach slightly edged the earlier rounds. Not by much. Since both were pretty inactive at times. But Roach landed just a couple more shots than Tank. In the last couple of rounds I felt Roach showed he wanted it more.”

Of course Roach will be happy with some of that based on his own feedback after the fight too.

The rematch will surely soon enough be announced with date and venue to be confirmed.
