Juan Manuel Marquez On Drug Testing In Haney vs Garcia 2

Juan Manuel Marquez the former world champion has given his thoughts on a hot potato topic in boxing.
That is the state of drugs testing and PEDs in boxing.
Ryan Garcia only tested positive for trace amounts of a prohibited substance last year in his fight against Devin Haney, which is strongly denies to this day.
Marquez had these words of warning to Fight Hub:
“I’d really like to see a rematch between Garcia and Haney. It’s important for the sport of boxing. Especially for Devin Haney who’s a great fighter. Their last fight ended as a no-contest and I’d love to see them go at it again. But I’m not sure. Maybe Ryan Garcia should take another test. Both before and after the fight. Haney needs to take control of the anti-doping tests for Garcia to ensure everything’s above board.”
Ultimately both men have tough fights ahead of them in early May first up.
That they both must win before the rematch can happen later this year.
