WWE NXT Viewership Rises On 12/24, Demo Slightly Dips

WWE NXT viewership increased on December 24.
According to Wrestlenomics, 723,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday night, and NXT drew a 0.14 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week's episode when 708,000 viewers tuned in. The demo is down from last week's episode, which drew a 0.16 rating in the same demographic.
Tuesday’s total viewership number marked NXT’s highest since October 8.
What happened on WWE NXT this week?
This week's show kicked off with Stephanie Vaquer defeating Cora Jade. Kelani Jordan attacked Jade after the match with a kendo stick.
Lexis King defeated Charlie Dempsey via disqualification to win the NXT Heritage Cup. William Regal was involved in the finish.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn defeated Fatal Influence in tag team action.
The close of the show saw NXT Champion Trick Williams come to the ring for a promo. He’s later interrupted by Eddy Thorpe and Oba Femi. A triple threat between the men is made for New Year’s Evil and they all brawl to end the show.
