Ted Turner Docuseries To Premiere On Max

A Ted Turner docuseries is coming to Max.

Warner Brothers Discovery announced that a six-part docuseries will premiere on the Max streaming service on November 13. Titled “Call Me Ted”, the series is written and directed by Keith Clarke, and it is produced by Joni Levin. ohn C. Malone, Brian L. Roberts, Charles F. Dolan, and S. Taylor Glover are credited as the executive producers,

Turner previously purchased Jim Crockett Promotions in 1988, and the company was later renamed World Championship Wrestling. He owned the company during its peak under Eric Bischoff in the 1990s. Turner then sold Turner Broadcasting to Time Warner, the latter of which merged with AOL. WCW was ultimately purchased by WWF in 2001.
