Saraya had a scene cut from Total Divas after getting into a fight over a woman calling Natalya an inappropriate racial slur.

Saraya, then known as Paige, was one of the stars of Total Divas following her debut on the main roster. She became WWE Divas Champion on her debut on the Raw after WrestleMania 30 and quickly joined the star-studded cast of the reality TV show. She joined stars like the Bella Twins, Natalya and Naomi on the show, and has numerous memorable moments over the years. However, one of her most infamous never made it to air at all.

Speaking to Joe Vulpis on the Lightweights Podcast, Saraya revealed that she once got into a fight at Fandango’s (aka Johnny Curtis/JDC) house after a girl called Natalya the N-word. Saraya added that the producers loved the fight, but WWE didn’t want it to air, given her role as one of the top babyfaces on television at that point.

Saraya On Fighting A Girl Over Calling Natalya The N-Word

"Nattie—she’s batshit crazy, dude, and the best. I had such a fun time filming with her. The first season I did, the first episode I was in, was with Nattie. Then we did the pot brownie storyline, where I made her believe she was eating pot brownies, and there was a drug test coming up. She ended up crashing a car to get out of it—it was a whole thing. It was great, I had so much fun," Saraya said.

"There was a scene that didn't air because I got into a physical fight over her. I headbutted this chick because I was younger and out of my mind. We were at Fandango's house party, and this girl came over. She was drunk and just trying to make everything about her, you know? She called Nattie the N-bomb, and I was like, ‘What the f*ck]?’ Then she started talking a bunch of [sh*t], and I just snapped."

Saraya says WWE couldn’t air the footage

Saraya explained that the girl smacked her hat off, which "pissed [her] off." She headbutted the girl and fought her on the ground before it was broken up.

"WWE did not want to post that. Her boyfriend ran in towards me. But one of the producers, Annie—she's a big girl—scooped him up on her shoulder and rushed him out of the apartment," she continued. "Meanwhile, I was dragging this girl, shoving her face into the carpet like she was a dog. Just yelling, 'How dare you talk to us like that!'

"We couldn't air it, especially since it was my first episode, and I was physically beating someone up. It was crazy," she continued. "She even broke my sandals! I really liked those sandals. While I was fighting her, they snapped, and I was just like, 'Shoes! This bitch!' The producers were like, 'We need to get out of here!' So they got me in a car and out of there."

Saraya also commented on her in-ring future, feeling like there’s no spot for her now, but she will find one down the line.
