Report: Dakota Kai Pulled From WWE Touring Due To Injury
01/27/2025 03:58 PM
Dakota Kai is reportedly dealing with an injury.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Kai has been pulled off the road. She was said to be “hurt” on the January 20th episode of WWE RAW. There, she and IYO SKY defeated Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Johnson cites one source who said they believed that she may have been hurt on the bump she took on a missile dropkick.
Per Johnson, Kai is not backstage at the WWE RAW taping on January 27th, and there is no word on whether this could keep her out of the Royal Rumble on February 1st.
Kai recently competed in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament. She made it to the finals, where she lost to Lyra Valkyria. Kai is part of the Damage CTRL stable with Kairi Sane, IYO SKY, and Asuka. Asuka has been sidelined since May due to an injury.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
