Bruce Prichard is reportedly back on the road with WWE.

In November, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Prichard, a longtime member of the WWE creative team, was on temporary leave due to a family emergency. Conrad Thompson confirmed the news on his Something to Wrestle podcast with Prichard. He noted that there had been “health events” in Prichard’s family. For this reason, he was taking a leave of absence. At the time, there was no word on how long Prichard would be absent.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Bruce Prichard has been spotted in Phoenix, the site of the January 3 taping of WWE SmackDown. The report notes that Prichard was back on the road with the company.

Johnson also notes that NXT’s Matt Bloom has been spotted in Phoenix ahead of the SmackDown tapings. Per Johnson, he has been present at all TV tapings recently.

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE SmackDown as it airs on January 3.
