PWA Chevs vs. Troy Pits Former Friends Against One Another In PWA World Title Match

At PWA Colosseum, the long-time friendship of Charli Evans and Jessica Troy took a turn for the worse when the former betrayed the latter and forged a new alliance with North Shore Wrestling (Sam Osborne & Will Kiedis). On April 11, the best friends turned rivals will meet once again as Troy defends the PWA Heavyweight Championship against Evans in a Last Wrestler Standing match at PWA CHEVS vs. TROY.
For Troy, this is not just another title defense, but rather a fierce battle. “This is the most emotional and heartbreaking match of my career,” Troy said in a press release. "Not because of the betrayal and hurt I've felt from CHEVS, but because of what I'm going to do to her to make sure I am the last wrestler standing. And still, the PWA Heavyweight Champion."
Charli Evans wants to be the face of PWA
According to Evans, CHEVS vs. TROY will mark the end of long, winding road of sacrifice and hard work. “Since day one, I have represented PWA. I've taken PWA with me everywhere I go, and 10 years later, I am finally going to be able to call myself the face of this company,” Evans said. “PWA has been CHEVS Country for a long time, and on April 11th at The Factory Theatre, we make it official! There is no one in the world, not even my ex-best friend, the greatest technical wrestler in Australia and the defending champion Jessica Troy, that could stop me from achieving what I truly deserve."
Elsewhere at this PWA event, Robbie Eagles will defend his Soul of PWA Championship against Jimmy Townsend, a former PWA Tag Team Champion. Similarly, current PWA Tag Team Champions Backslide Girlz (Shay Kassidy and Everett Connors) will put their titles on the line against The Regime (Ricky South and Backman). Also in tag competition, The Velocities (Paris De Silva and Jude London) and Velkan Wild will take on PPK (Franki B and Nikki Van Blair) and Marley Peleti as a part of the 2025 Premiership.
Rounding out CHEVS vs. TROY are a singles match between Ben Braxton and Hari Singh as well as an Over-the-Top-Rope Elimination Battle Royale featuring Jack Bonza, Big Fudge, Sullivan, Aaron Jake, Kai Drake, and Tony Sin. The winner of the battle royale will earn the coveted #30 entry at King of the Metro, which takes place on June 27.
PWA CHEVS vs. TROY will emanate from the Factory Theatre in Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia, with the action kicking off at 7:30 PM local time.
