Positive Health Update On AEW Star Luchasaurus

An update on Luchasaurus.

The AEW star has been sidelined since September after being hospitalized with pneumonia in both of his lungs. The condition was bad enough that there was fear that Luchsaurus, real name Austin Matelson, would not survive.

Bryan Alvarez from F4Wonline gave an update on Luchasaurus; fortunately, it is positive. Alvarez reiterates how serious the illness was, and that the former TNT Champion is working towards a return to the ring.

"He is doing much better. I am told he is working hard towards a comeback and credits Tony Khan and AEW medical staff for not only being patient with this, but but also telling him to stay home the week before he collapsed, which may have saved his life. It was very serious."

Luchasaurus, who has been going by Killswitch over the last few months, last wrestled for AEW at the All In 2024 pay-per-view.
