In a tweet on June 24, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross wrote that he had taken another trip to the ER, and he was having difficulty breathing. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that it would likely be an overnight stay, but he would be okay.

Ross was hospitalized due to a virus he contracted ahead of AEW Double or Nothing in May, and he missed the pay-per-view. He has said that he was set to return at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30. As of this writing, there is no word on whether he will be able to work the show,
