Huge Update On The Future Of AEW RampageJoey G.

AEW is bidding farewell to its Rampage program.

On December 22nd, during the taping of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan revealed to the live crowd that AEW would be recording the final episode of Rampage "for the foreseeable future." This announcement marks the end of an era for the weekly show, which has seen several key moments in AEW history.

AEW Rampage first premiered on August 13, 2021, as the second AEW program to air on TNT. The debut episode was memorable for featuring Christian Cage defeating Kenny Omega to capture the TNA/IMPACT Championship. However, it was the following week's episode—on August 20th—that truly made waves. CM Punk made his long-awaited return to wrestling on that broadcast, a moment that became iconic in AEW history. That episode remains the highest-rated in Rampage's run, drawing an impressive 1.126 million viewers.

The last episode of Rampage will air on December 27th, and its future remains uncertain.
