Gail Kim has been announced as a contestant on The Traitors Canada.
The Canadian is one of TNA’s greatest wrestler, with her matches with Awesome Kong helping to define the Knockouts Division in the 2000s. The duo put on matches the WWE Divas could only dream of. Meanwhile, she retired from wrestling in 2018, and earned herself a TNA Hall of Fame induction in 2016.
Since her retirement, Gail Kim has been moving into the world of reality television, and she appeared alongside TNA’s Gisele Shaw on The Amazing Race Canada. Meanwhile, she is set to appear on her biggest TV show yet.
Gail was announced as a contestant on the newest series of The Traitors Canada. The show brings together 24 contestants, with hopes of winning a $100,000 prize. However, it is likely that, as a celebrity, she will donate the prize to charity if she wins.
What is The Traitors?
A group of “Faithfuls” must track down the “Traitors”, who have the goal of “killing” everyone to take home the prize.
It is a game of politics, trickery and secrecy. However, this is something her years in the wrestling business will have prepared her well for.
The Traitors Canada posted a video on Twitter where they announced the contestants for the latest season of the show. They announced Gail Kim as being known for her appearance on The Amazing Race Canada, something the TNA legend took umbrage with.
She responded directly to the Tweet. Gail Kim was excited to be officially announced as part of the show. However, she requested to be called a “TNA HOF’er” instead, to give more “round table street cred” when on the program.
