CM Punk and Liv Morgan Appear At NFL on Netflix Christmas Games

CM Punk and Liv Morgan made media rounds on Christmas.
On January 6, WWE Raw will premiere on the Netflix streaming platform. Before the company makes that official move, though, former WWE Champion CM Punk and WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan appeared on Netflix in another form.
On Christmas Day, the NFL hosted a double-header of games, both of which streamed on Netflix. Firstly, the Pittsburgh Steelers took on the Kansas City Chiefs, with Punk making a special guest appearance on the pre-show alongside Laura Rutledge, and Devin & Jason McCourty. In doing so, Punk also hyped WWE’s upcoming move to Netflix.
“I'd imagine football is excited to be on Netflix. Wrestling is excited to be on Netflix. I think we have a tremendous global reach that's only going to be compounded by being on Netflix, and that's going to reach a lot of people. I'm very excited.”
Punk, a native of Chicago, also cut a promo on the Chicago Bears’ management.
Liv Morgan Was A Ravens’ Girl On Christmas
Elsewhere, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan emerged on the sidelines for the game pitting the Houston Texas against the Baltimore Ravens. Growing up in New Jersey, Morgan noted that she supported the New York Jets and Giants. The same cannot necessarily be said nowadays though.
“Growing up a Jersey girl, I was obviously a fan of the Jets and the Giants. They were such a part of the culture there. But being a WWE Superstar, I’ve gotten the opportunity to partner up with many different NFL teams and organizations, so I don’t know that I can say that I have a team,” Morgan said in a sideline interview. “But I respect so much for all the players and I’m so excited to watch every season. Today I am a Ravens girlie.”
Like Punk, Morgan also promoted WWE’s Netflix premiere, calling it a “huge” opportunity for fans all across the globe. During the actual NFL game itself, Morgan later enjoyed a beverage with her Judgment Day stablemate Raquel Rodriguez.
On WWE Raw’s Netflix debut, Morgan will defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley. Meanwhile, CM Punk will face off with Seth “Freakin” Rollins in the main event.
