Booker T Teases Match With Former NXT Champion Trick Williams

Booker T teases a potential match with Trick Williams.

Former NXT Champion Trick Williams has long called for a match against WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Is the feeling mutual, though? On the latest edition of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker revealed that it is indeed.

“I would love to do something with Trick Williams,” Booker said. “I think that would be something really, really cool in 2025. If I could muster up the old gas to actually be able to go out there and get something done. The thing is my right knee’s been killing me. If I can get my right knee to work for me, 2025 could be that year for me to get something done with trick Willams.

“I know he wants to do it. He’s been freaking texting me. He’s been goading me, trying to get me into a match, put his stuff on social media. To be able to get in there with that kid, it would be special, it really would.”

WWE fans last saw Booker wrestled as a part of the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Recently, however, the 59-year-old returned to the ring at Reality of Wrestling’s Battle to the Bell event, defeating his mentee Zilla Fatu in the process. Meanwhile, Trick Williams is coming off a loss to Oba Femi at NXT New Year’s Evil, which also resulted in a massive title change.
