According to Fightful Select, Black may be nearing the end of his tenure, with some even believing his departure could be imminent. However, there's no official confirmation about whether he'll make another appearance on AEW television.

In terms of his contract status, Fightful has noted that Black had additional option years after 2024, while Tony Khan previously mentioned that Black was signed through 2027. Despite these details, there's no concrete information about whether those options have been exercised or if a mutual agreement has been reached regarding his departure.

As of now, Black is still listed on AEW's official roster, and he's scheduled for an appearance at CCW on January 11th.
