Big E Joins Cast Of 'Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man'

Big E has landed a new role.

Speaking with Brandon Davis for Phase Hero, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man showrunner, EP, and head writer Jeff Trammell brought up Big E. When asked, Trammell confirmed that Big E was part of the cast, and he commented on the process.

"I asked him,” Trammell said. “He was like, 'Yeah.' [Laughs] He's the best. He's in this, and we've been recording him since a few years ago. The first time he recorded, he was still wearing the neck brace. We're very, very fortunate to E. He's incredible, he's been the absolute best to work with. I love him.”

Details about Big E’s role in the show were not immediately provided.

The first two episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will premiere on Disney+ on January 29th.

Big E On Potential In-Ring Return

The former WWE Champion has been out of action since March 2022 due to a neck injury. Speaking on The Mike Broomhead Show, he discussed his injury and said that he still hadn’t been cleared.

“I broke my neck, two and a half years ago, in three places, including my C1 in two places, Big E said. “I still haven’t been cleared,” he said. “Thankfully, I feel great and don’t have any issues, nothing like that. Didn’t need surgery. I was in a hard collar for three months. There are very real risks. We had a suplex that went wrong and I’ve been out since. I’m grateful to have no issues, no pain, nothing like that,” he said. (H/t Fightful)
