Bianca Belair praises her fellow women in WWE.

While still a predominately male-dominated industry, women in professional wrestling have made several, historical advances in recent years, such as headlining pay-per-views. During a recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Belair specifically highlighted the current state of WWE’s women’s division, which she describes as being on a top-tier level.

“We are at the top of our game,” Belair said. “We’ve had so many women that have come before us that have been trailblazers. They have laid the foundation so that we’ve been able to walk in to do what we’re doing right now. We are main-eventing WrestleManias, we are main-eventing Raw [and] SmackDowns. We’re stealing the show.

“People have asked so many times what more do women need to do,” she continued. “We don’t need to do anything more; we just need those opportunities. We’re getting those opportunities now, and we’re showing up and we’re showing out. We’re stealing the show. Now you have amazing storylines going into WrestleMania where people are talking about the women. We are putting on amazing matches. It’s not just ‘Oh that was a great match for a woman.’ No, that’s just a great match. People are wanting these matches from us.”

Currently, WWE is building two WrestleMania 41 matches involving its women. Firstly, Belair will challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Elsewhere, Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner.

Bianca Belair also had a strong message for anyone that thinks she was involved in the attack on Jade Cargill.
