Backstage Update On Wild Card Entry Into AEW's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament

-- The Young Bucks recently announced on Wednesday's Dynamite that they would be inserting a wild card into the Owen Hart tournament - someone who would win the tournament and then go onto win the World Title and bring it back to The Elite. Fightfulselect.com is reporting that consistent with online rumors, "Hangman" Adam Page has been discussed as the possible mystery individual for the 'wild card' spot. He has been off TV since AEW Revolution for "contractually obligated personal reasons" and isn't injured but was believed to be looking at a late June/early July return.

-- The report cautions that because creative plans could always change, it isn't a given that Page will be revealed as the wild card but most backstage chatter appears to be pointing to this happening.
