In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Bad Bunny made waves by mentioning that WWE Backlash would be held in Mexico in the near future.

However, PW Insider reports that the popular rapper's statement about Backlash being held in Mexico is inaccurate. Multiple insiders have revealed that there are no current plans to host the event there anytime soon.

Bad Bunny was featured in the 2023 Backlash event that was held in Puerto Rico, where he defeated Damian Priest in a street fight. WWE would hold the 2024 Backlash event in France, with many assuming that the post-WrestleMania show will once again take place outside of the United States.
