Adam Cole discussed his return on AEW Dynamite.

Cole had been sidelined with an ankle injury since September 2023, but he continued to make appearances on AEW programming for the next few months. He turned on MJF and formed the Undisputed Kingdom at AEW Worlds End. MJF later returned and attacked Cole at AEW Double or Nothing. Cole was absent until he returned at AEW WrestleDream, where he confronted MJF.

Adam Cole came to the ring on the October 16 episode of AEW Dynamite and explained himself. He called MJF the worst human being he had ever met, and he said that sometimes you had to fight evil with evil. As for his betrayal, he stated that anyone who trusted MJF was stupid, and now the MJF that everyone was seeing was the real MJF.

Cole said that MJF had been terrorizing AEW for years, and he only cared about himself. He stated that everything about MJF was fake, and he was a scared, insecure little boy. He also said that MJF was a phony who couldn’t be trusted.

Cole went on to highlight how AEW had the best wrestlers in the world before he shifted his focus back to MJF, saying that he hated everything about him. Cole then challenged MJF to a fight.

MJF Responds To Adam Cole

MJF’s music played, but he did not come out. Instead, he responded with a taped video message. He said that Cole tricked him into letting his guard down, and Cole stabbed him in the back. MJF told Cole that he would never trust again, and the man he had become was Cole’s fault.

MJF then told Cole that he would never get him in the ring, and he would die with a hunger for vengeance. Cole fired back by saying that he could run but he could not hide, and he would give him the ass-beating of a lifetime.
