Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight's matchup here.
The Golden State Warriors travel up north for a quick one-game road trip as they take on the Sacramento Kings. The game will be played at 7:00PM PT in Sacramento and can be watched on ESPN and NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State suffered their worst home loss of the season on Monday, falling to the Boston Celtics125-85. The 40-point blowout showcased the Warriors' abysmal offensive performance as they struggled to find any rhythm against Boston, managing just 39 points by halftime. Stephen Curry led the team with 18 points on the night, followed by Moses Moody with 13 points. No other Warriors player scored in double figures, prompting Curry to lament the team's lack of "spirit" when the offense struggles to score.

What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors head into Wednesday's matchup shorthanded, once again missing several key rotational players. They'll be without Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, Kyle Anderson, and Draymond Green, who is sidelined for at least a week with a left calf strain. However, Stephen Curry will be available for the front end of this back-to-back.
The Warriors will be without the same group of players tomorrow in Sacramento: Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Kyle Anderson, Brandin Podziemski. Everyone else, including Steph Curry, cleared on the front side of back-to-back.

Tonight's matchup against the Kings presents a significant challenge for the Warriors as Sacramento has been one of the league's hottest teams since interim head coach Doug Christie took over in late December. The Kings have won nine of their last 10 games, including a dominant 129-99 victory over the Warriors earlier this month at the Chase Center. During this stretch, Sacramento boasts the best record in the NBA and ranks fourth in net rating.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have posted a mediocre 5-5 record over their last 10 games. Their struggles have been particularly pronounced on offense, where they rank 20th in the league in offensive rating.
Despite these challenges, games between the Warriors and Kings usually bring out the best in Golden State, so hopefully they show up well for tonight's Northern California Rivalry Week matchup.
